DHF Scheduled Events & Programs 2026

Every year we gather with our clients and their families providing them a safe space to breathe, enjoy and celebrate holidays with their children.
The DHF family is blessed to comprise a mix of survivors who stay connected with us for many years combined with survivors who are new to our community and have recently reached out to us.
Our client children co-survivors say they are excited and look forward to these ‘parties’ where they feel included, warmly welcomed and celebrated with many kid-friendly smiles and joy. Many have never been invited to or have been able to attend a function – it’s a feeling that only belonging to a community and gathering at a party, can bring.

Together as a community, we are proud to have you stand tall with us and step up to interrupt the silence and shame around these issues. We know it is no small task to be an Ambassador of DHF, causing the ripple effect we need for healthy relationships to take root.
With our efforts combined, violence, abuse & gender-based crimes do not have a fighting chance of survival; instead, light, hope, courage and the creation of bright new futures for survivors & co-surviving children is what we’re committed to see thrive.
We look forward to continuing this work with you by our side, every step of the way.

Every year DHF organize Family Harmony Walk and Lunch for awareness and prevention to reduce domestic violence in the community.
Because of Domestic Violence, lives are being lost, children are harmed and there is a negative everlasting impact on generations.
It is our commitment at DHF to work with community partners to improve lives for safe families and communities.

Our Clients are one family and together we enjoy and celebrate our successes and achievements, ending the year with gratitude and look forward to do better tomorrow.
It’s a celebration of combined year-end holidays and festivities and gives our community the very important opportunity to meet in person, connect and rejoice in being together.
